"A useful tool for the traveler, though with a direct word comparison, some guide as to context would help. A big plus, in my book anyhow, is that the software works on SD thereby increasing the flexibility of my machine. Overall, much better than some of the other 'dictionaries' that are little more than simple databases. Localized characters (umlauts etc.) are handled as standard English and this greatly simplifies the usage."

"The dictionary has great menus. The method to scroll as you write the word is helpful, particularly since I rarely know the exact spelling. Spanish has many different dialects and the ability to add entries enables me to customize it for Mexican Spanish. I like the product enough that I recently purchase the English - French - English dictionary."

"The four SlovoEd dictionaries that I bought (French, Hebrew, Italian and Spanish-English) have been wonderful. These dictionaries have been great tools that I have used daily to check quick translations for whatever the reason may be. They also come with a feature where one can learn a new word everyday. Each time I start up the SlovoEd program a word pops up in one language with its translation. I have learned many new words this way. Paragon Software is a very reliable company which responds to my emails very quickly and efficiently. I would recommend that if anyone is interested in buying dictionary software that you go with Paragon Software. If I ever need to purchase dictionaries again, I would definitely, with out any doubt, go with Paragon Software."

"This French-English/English-French dictionary was a real treat to use and enhanced my enjoyment of a three-week trip to France from which I returned last week. It is very liberating not to have to carry around a bulky pocket dictionary. It is fun to use, and in fact quicker than a pocket dictionary. The vocabulary is surprisingly large: all my usual test words for travel dictionaries were included; there was a reasonable amount of slang; multiple meanings were given and easy to distinguish; many of the more exotic gastronomic terms were not there, but a more than respectable number were. And the add-in feature permits me to correct any such omissions I find. While I have not yet mastered all the program features (e.g. adding vocabulary, flashcards), I know I will want the Spanish-English/English-Spanish dictionary for my next trip to Spain. My wife, after initial skepticism, wants her own copy, too. It really increased our enjoyment of the trip, and facilitated our interactions with the people we met. I highly recommend the product, and I thank the developers for a good job well done."

"Working for an American Company in Germany, demand a comprehensive dictionary. I have evaluated several of these electronic dictionaries and found Paragon's solution as the most useful. The UltraLingua dictionary translates a large number of words, which helps in nearly every situation. It is easy to use and provides nice features like the support of a Flash Card and the Resident function. The major added value is, to have it as a mobile tool on the Palm and not as a tool on the office PC."

"SlovoEd is excellent product. It's very fast; the database has high compression and contains many entries. It can manage SD card storage (I install SlovoEd on it). Great technical support as well."

"I found the dictionary to be easy to use and very helpful in translating French to English and vice versa. It has a lot of flexibility with features like the flash card quiz and the word of the day. Since one can add entries it will not be limited by its own list of words. One can continually add to it."
